What's the difference between a Career and a Job
Now we have the 'Subject To Be Covered' covered. We can now digress in talking about them from a first and third person prospective, getting a feel and taste of all Subjects covered. I'll also be interjecting my own opinions and personal Emotions, Attitude towards ever day living, Work ethic [time spent, organisation skills and goals ] and What's the difference between a Career and Job.
Emotions
Emotions can be a touchy subject and can go on for ever. As it's a feeling, mood, description and thought, however today we are going to try and keep it condensed as we are talking about Emotions as a whole. 1) State Of Mind - having a clear and balanced mind set, is one of the first steps of getting over the hurdles of every day living mentally - (over coming any short comings you might have faced/facing). I would strongly agree with this, and can not stress the emphasis on how important I know this to be. It can be the 'being' and the 'end of your all'. Personally for myself staying balanced in my mind has allowed me to grow and not hinder or procrastinate on any obstacles I have faced. 2) Actions. How Does Your Emotions Effect Your Actions ? - Now speaking Purely on a Personal Level, my emotions have had a major effect on my actions, (not so much as lashing out at people or being physical with anyone or thing), however it had effected how I have interacted with people, being either completely drawn away or closed off, with the needing to be in my own space. For me I had to learn and become steal in knowing when MY emotions was Effecting my Actions. Finding ways to insure that this is not the case - with the 'know' your are in control and not the other way round. 3) How To Find / Gain Equilibrium - there are a number of ways to gain equilibrium, just to name a few, Meditation, Over ridding Negative thoughts with Positives thoughts, Yoga, Reading, Stimulating your mind intellectually, which can all be done within your own space. When finding equilibrium, or taking part with others, can be more soothing to ones, State Of Mind, Actions and Gaining Equilibrium.
Attitude Towards Your Everyday Living
Attitude Towards Your Everyday living, will give you, a first and third hand perspective. Summarising Emotions, a Balanced state of Mind - mentally and Equilibrium. This is were it gets harsh and just damn right raw, as I like to call 'Straight Talking' !
Having a positive attitude towards your everyday living is known to be much more pleasant, in totality. Having the attributes of a more happier and more pleasant outlook to what's going on around or within you, can make living a little more stressless. Not being bogged down with what people find mentally straining,
E.g. Bills, A job, House and Money just to name a few. Now I know this can be hard to get around, however your mental attitude to life is a key element of your personality, meaning if you make rational decisions, well thought out, with balanced emotions, neither too happy or too sad along side being physically balanced in nutrition/healthy. You are taking everyday living as it comes, only controlling what's in your power.
On the flip side if your always angry and blame everything on other people, it's more likely your mental attitude reflects this in your personality, coming off as bitter or just a lack in motivation / simply giving up too easily. I will be the first to put my hands up and say, my attitude forwards my everyday living had been harsh mentally. Not giving myself a break, whilst applying to much pressure, even sometimes missing the bigger picture on how far I had come. Not giving myself a well deserved pat on the back. What are some of the negative effects on being too harsh on ones self. Become drained, run down, mentally, physically and emotionally, turning into depression or severally suffering in malnutrition, resulting in the body becoming weak and lacking in nutrition. In complete neglect purely based on your 'Attitude Towards Your Everyday Living'. Some would say these are self inflected, altered states of thinking, displaying an unstable mind set, emotional imbalanced, making irrationally decisions based on how you might be feeling at the time.
Definition Of Attitude:
a. A manner of thinking, feeling, or behaving that reflects a state of mind or disposition: has a positive attitude about work; kept a dignified attitude throughout the crisis.
b. Arrogant or aggressive disposition or behaviour: One customer with a lot of attitude really tried my patience.
Work Ethic [time spent, organisation skills and goals]
I pose a question, what is work ethic? and does it have it's pros and cons?. The answer is yes it has pros and cons and to the other question, work ethic can be describe as having determination, 'I can do it', I will achieve it, there is no stopping me. As you can also see, I will be talking about time spent - how long do you spend doing something, are you spending to much time or are you not spending enough time. Organisation skills, do you have everything you need in order, do you know where things are, or are you all over the place. Goals, what are your goal and do have any? and are they achievable. Wow that is a big elephant to digest all at once, so lets break it down, keeping it simply.
Work Ethic is a straight forward subject as a whole, you're either, hard working making sure you haven't missed anything and you have gone the extra mile in making sure things are done correctly. Opposite, you're lazy, or don't pay enough attention to detail or you're lacking in motivation, really 'Attitude Towards Your Everyday Living' goes hand in hand, with this. Positive attributes constructs of a keen work ethic, well organised and goals are realistic and achievable. Negative attributes possess, a nonchalant attitude towards their work, lack or no timing skills (late). Flustered in organisation skills, messy or simply lacking in order. Making things hard to find. Goals are far and wide, not thought out and show no process in how they are going to be achieved. In most cases the idea is left and never to be looked upon again. If only there was a little time spent and how much time should you spend, not spending too much time on one thing. Took the time out to organise what is a priority, and in what order do you need things to be done. 'Organised'. Whilst applying a little thought, time and organisation skills, your goals become clear, reachable, achievable, with no doubt in how am I going to get this done. E.g. The will to go on.
What's The Difference Between a Career And a Job
This is where it gets fun, exciting and some what creative, in relations to a career. A Career is not all fun, it's hard work, building and maintaining. Taking courage, patience, a keen work ethic, time and organisation skills ensuring you meet your targets. As the saying goes "prepare or prepare to fail" As said as followed, in a career its all about your preparation, building connections, networking and getting yourself known. The Who, What and Why seems to just fit so perfectly with this. Example :
Who - your name. What - this is what I do. Why - this is why and I do this or this is why I'm offering you these services. Simple right, hmmm not quiet so, even for me. I had to learn this and get myself reacquainted you know, reintroduce myself.
However a career gives you freedom, allowing you to be your own boss, being in control and in charge of your own path, building and moulding ones destiny. With no restrictions to what, when and how, you please to go about your career.

For me these are all true, a career allows you to explore yourself first. Really getting to know yourself, from what you don't like and what you do like, even how to make yourself better at what you do. A career is a long term goal / goals you have thought about and decided to make your realty, reaping all the rewards of your labour and work ethic. A career has no start time or end time, it is the air you breath, from you wake up till you rest your eyes, it really is your everything.
A Job on the other hand can be just as fun, just with a twist. People telling you what to do, when to do it and what you can and can not do. Limiting ones creative side, sometime making people unhappy, causing stress, illness or make you want to leave. A Job is measured by how well you do somethings, are you pulling your weight in making the company money, are you meeting targets that are set, going through your position with a fine tooth comb. Questioning your place within their company and whether you're fit to remain. Some would differ in the calm, there are no difference between the two. Merely opinions, differing in views. Though I can agree with this, I believe there are some major differences between the two.
